Model: S17 DETAILS: Hello, this is the Super-Skeleton - Sam is a human skeleton model made of semi- hard polycarbonate/plastic matter and is natural bone in color. He is a fully articulated functional model with movable lower jaw secured by springs. All joints are articulated allowing for the full movement within the natural range. Sam's skull, arms, and legs are detachable for individual study. His skull is 3 part. The calvarium and lower jaw (mandible) is removable as well as three individual teeth. His bones have all the major foramen/foramina and fissures. The spinal column shows the spinal cord, cervical artery, nerve branches, and a herniated disc at the fourth lumbar. (Please note - the actual unit for sale has the muscles origins/insertions on the left side, and the ligaments on the right side) This top-of-the-line skeleton combines the features of our various deluxe skeletons. It has Max's muscle origins and insertions, and Leo's ligaments. Plus emerging spinal nerves and vertebral arteries and disc prolapse between L3 and L4. ( We are sold out of Fred and Max right now, but please check back later). BONUS: Also included with this auction is the deluxe full size stand with castors (as pictured). This unit is top quality and can be used in many different contexts for study, including: middle school, high school, college anatomy, and also for gross anatomy study for medical/dental/physical therapy/chiropractic/physicians assistant/occupation therapy/nursing students. This model is Brand New in factory sealed box. The muscle origins are in red and insertions are in blue. The ligaments are exactly as pictured.
