Diamond Microdermabrasion Machine Sylvan Company
The best diamond tip professional microdermabrasion system on the market today. Diamond Microdermabrasion Machines are superior to other micro dermabrasion skin systems.
The history of the microdermabrasion machine started as far back as Egyptian doctors who would use a form of sandpaper to
remove the top layers of the skin to give a smooth appearance to the skin and help lighten scars. In the United States dermabrasion was one of the most popular skin procedures in 2005. It was introduced to the U.S. in the late 1990 s.
The top selling microdermabrasion system has replaced the painful wire brush of the dermabrasion. With microdermabrasion machines there is no down time and the risk of infection is very low or nonexistent. When dermabrasion was used years ago it was thought that it could treat scars, but more often would cause scars. Microdermabrasion is used to treat and help reduce scarring. Diamond dermabrasion (micro) is the culmination of the technology, rendering the messy crystal type obsolete.
I have been an Esthetician for 25 years and I heard about microdermabrasion machines when they were introduced to the U.S. near the end of the 1990 s. The first microdermabrasion systems, and still many today, would blast aluminum oxide crystals against the skin. The results were wonderful in the lighting of hyper pigmentation, acne scars, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and minimized the look of enlarged pores. It was a great service for the Esthetician to offer their clients.
Approximately ten years ago a newer form of the microdermabrasion machines came around, using a diamond tip head, no need for the oxide crystals. The diamond tip will abrade or remove the stratum conium, the top layer of skin, and the dead skin and debris is vacuumed and filtered into the system and discarded.
I have used both top selling crystal and diamond tip microdermabrasion machines and I lean toward the diamond dermabrasion for a few reasons. There are no crystals to get into the clients nose, ears, and eyes and there is no crystal residue to clean off the skin after treatment. In some cases there have been reports of people having side effects from regular treatments of the aluminum oxide microdermabrasion; such as itchy eyes, sore throats, headaches and even respiratory problems. If the treatment is done properly these side effects should not happen. There is a very low risk or none at all, of these side effects with the diamond tip microdermabrasion system.
Diamond tip leaves the skin less pink and irritated after treatment and the client is more comfortable because they do not feel the aluminum crystals beating up against their skin. The results with this kit are still smooth radiant skin with reduced fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pores.
I received the second edition (February 2010) SYL-08XLT diamond microdermabrasion machine from the Sylvan Company in Myrtle Beach, SC. I was pleased with the different functions the machine had to offer. The diamond tip microdermabrasion system, ultrasound, hot and cold hammer, and skin scrubber/skin peel is a full multifunction kit. I can use the skin scrubber to remove a cleanser or enzyme mask to accelerate exfoliation before the diamond microdermabrasion, followed by the use of the cold hammer to sooth and calm the skin, and finally penetrate product and warm the facial tissue which help to lift the skin with the ultrasound machine. The SYL-08XLT is become one of the most sought after microdermabrasion machines in the industry as a full multifunction kit. This product is a patented Sylvan Company product and can only be found on sale through Sylvan Company and affiliates. Sylvan's main office is located in Myrtle Beach, SC.
