Ozone is a word that is derived from the Greek word \"smell\". It is more commonly known in air purification as \"Activated Oxygen\". Ozone occurs when a discharge, such as Lightning bolt or water fall, then molecularly disassociates a stable molecule (O2) and splits them apart leaving two atoms that are unstable, i.e.. (O1) oxygen. The three atoms are unstable and now seek to be stable, in order to be stable they connect to surrounding oxygen molecules (01) thus creating ozone (03).
